Specialty Insurance

Insurance for Oil & Gas Contractors

Coverage written for the wellsite, not adapted to it.
Unique Risks

Where generic policies leave you exposed:

Your contracts demand coverage that standard forms were never written to provide. These are the gaps we find most often.

Underground resources and equipment

Damage to the formation, the wellbore, or downhole equipment is excluded outright on most standard general liability forms. If you touch a well, that exclusion is the whole job.

Action-over claims from a worker's injury

An injured employee of your subcontractor sues the operator, the operator turns to your policy, and your employer's liability endorsement is silent. This is the most expensive gap in the class.

Pollution that shows up weeks later

A release discovered on day 40 and reported on day 80 needs discovery and reporting windows most policies do not give you. Buried sublimits also collapse fast once remediation starts.

Additional insured wording that fails the contract

Operators and lease owners want blanket additional insured status, primary and non-contributory, with waiver of subrogation. Certificates get rejected at the gate when the underlying form does not support it.
