Bill started in the surety industry as an underwriter for a large national surety company upon his graduation from LaSalle University in 1985. After serving as an underwriter for 5 years and gaining an understanding of surety underwriting, he accepted a position as a producer with one of the largest regional surety bond brokers in the Delaware Valley in early 1990. Utilizing the industry knowledge and experience he gained during this time Bill started Allstates Bonding in late 1999. Bill’s position as President of Allstates Bonding allows him to be actively involved in all aspects of the operation including Sales, Client and Underwriter relationships, Budgets and Future Growth Plans. Bill has a B.S. Degree in Business from LaSalle University with a concentration in Accounting. He has also earned a Law Degree from Temple University and is a licensed attorney in the State of New Jersey. Bill has a son who recently graduated from college and a daughter in her final year of college.
John joined Allstates in 2008 to develop business and manage internal operations of Allstates as the company grew in size. John oversees the internal operations today with a focus on customer management and the development of new customers. He leads our company goal to be a valuable resource to our customers by providing input on topics such as year- end tax planning and how decisions can impact bonding, enabling the customer to make informed business decisions. After earning a degree in Finance from LaSalle University in 1990, John started in the surety bond business with a large regional insurance agency working in the bond department. He spent 13 years at this company developing and managing bond accounts and obtaining valuable underwriting experience in both contract and commercial surety. Prior to Allstates, John spent close to 5 years as the Vice President/ Manager of the bond department of a national insurance and surety bond broker in their Philadelphia regional office.
Melissa Bannon has been with Allstates for over 10 years and has developed significant experience with the bond process – bid to performance- to assure our customers obtain their bonds as quickly and efficiently as possible. Melissa manages the daily flow of customers’ bond needs to ensure that bonds are executed accurately and in a timely manner. Melissa resides in Sellersville, PA with her husband.
Kim is usually the first voice you hear when you call Allstates. She has been with Allstates for a year having joined us from a national bank. Kim’s experience in that position required an attention to detail that has enabled her to develop an immediate understanding of surety. We are pleased to have Kim as part of our team! Kim resides in Feasterville, PA.
Vince is the newest member of the AllStates team. By providing business development and internal operations support to the team Vince’s hiring will allow us to take on additional new clients without sacrificing any of the hands-on support our existing clients have grown to expect. Vince is looking forward to getting acquainted with AllStates’ existing customers, as well as bringing in new clients to the AllStates family. After earning a degree in Finance from Shippensburg University Vince has spent the last 15+ years working in multiple facets of the surety business. Those varying roles include several years as a bond claim manager and contract & commercial surety underwriter at the local branch offices of two top-ten (by premium written) surety companies. Before joining AllStates Vince managed the bond department and oversaw the underwriting relationships for the surety division of a publicly traded insurance brokerage firm in the greater Philadelphia area. Vince is now looking forward to bringing these varying surety experiences into his new role with AllStates. Vince resides in the Collegeville, PA area with his wife and two boys.
Destiny is also one the voices you hear when you call Allstates. Destiny is currently part-time while she attends Montgomery County Community College to pursue a degree in Criminal Justice. We are pleased to have Destiny as part of our team! Destiny resides in Abington, PA.
Prior to joining our AllStates Team, Chuck worked for Independent Corporate Underwriters as a Senior Surety Underwriter for the past twenty-seven years. Prior to that he worked at Continental Bank as a Commercial Loan Manager and Main Line Distributers as President and CFO. With his strong background as a senior underwriter in the surety bond business, Chuck has successfully built strong relationships with his existing clients and surety partners. He looks forward to continuing his current relationships, establishing new ones and helping AllStates continue to grow its surety bond business.
Chuck, a graduate of Penn State University, resides in the Harleysville area and enjoys spending his free time with his wife, children, and grandchildren.
