I started my career offshore after graduating from Texas A&M and the Texas Maritime Academy with a degree in Marine Transportation and earning a USCG 3rd Mate Unlimited Tonnage License. Time aboard vessels and in tug and barge operations provided direct exposure to navigation, crew responsibility, contractual obligations and real-world marine risk.
After transitioning ashore, I built experience across marine claims, in-house maritime risk management and commercial brokerage advisory. I have handled and evaluated losses involving Hull and Machinery, Protection and Indemnity, Cargo, Inland Marine and Jones Act exposures. That perspective shapes how I structure coverage today.
At The Liberty Company Insurance Brokers, I advise vessel owners, marine contractors and transportation businesses on commercial insurance programs. My role includes exposure analysis, coverage design, carrier negotiation and ongoing advisory support aligned with operational realities.
