Dan Waldeck

Dan Waldeck is a results-driven insurance specialist dedicated to empowering small businesses across Long Island. He began his career with Budde Agency in 2002 after earning a bachelor’s degree in economics from Binghamton University. Nearly two decades later, in July 2021, Dan and the Budde team proudly joined The Liberty Company Insurance Brokers, where he continues to serve clients with integrity and care as a Partner.

Throughout his career, Dan has built a reputation as a trusted advisor to his clients, colleagues, and peers. His commitment to doing what’s right was recognized when he received Liberty’s Core Value Caring Award—an honor that reflects his belief in leading with kindness and purpose rather than pursuing recognition.

As a servant leader, Dan focuses on empowering his team by fostering a supportive, collaborative environment where every member feels valued and equipped for success. He believes that when people are given the right tools and encouragement, they can focus on what truly matters: helping others.

Outside of work, Dan is a devoted husband to his wife, Laura, and a proud father to their three daughters—Cameron, Andie, and Samantha. Based on Long Island, the Waldeck family enjoys local vacations and spending time together on the area’s beautiful beaches.

Dan is also an active member of local community associations and networking groups, where he surrounds himself with positive, service-minded professionals who share his belief in giving more than you receive and leading with gratitude.
