What Types of Homes Are Covered?
Mobile Homes
- A mobile home is usually constructed prior to June 1976
- Mobile homes come in two major sizes, single-wides and double-wides
Modular Homes
- Transported on flatbed trucks rather than being towed
- Lack axles and an automotive-type frame
- Once the home has reached its location the home is set on a concrete foundation
Manufactured Homes
- Constructed post June 1976
- Meet FHA certification requirements
- Come with attached metal certification tags.
Tiny Homes
- Ranging from 100 to 400 square feet, are compact dwellings that can be transported on trailers.
- Offer high customization and a do-it-yourself approach.

Park Model
- Only come in one size and must remain under 400 square feet to qualify as a recreational vehicle under federal state laws
- Generally have steel tie down straps to attach to ground anchors to satisfy local zoning or park regulations
