What Types of Homes Are Covered?

Mobile Homes

  • A mobile home is usually constructed prior to June 1976
  • Mobile homes come in two major sizes, single-wides and double-wides

Modular Homes

  • Transported on flatbed trucks rather than being towed
  • Lack axles and an automotive-type frame
  • Once the home has reached its location the home is set on a concrete foundation

Manufactured Homes

  • Constructed post June 1976
  • Meet FHA certification requirements
  • Come with attached metal certification tags.

Tiny Homes

  • Ranging from 100 to 400 square feet, are compact dwellings that can be transported on trailers.
  • Offer high customization and a do-it-yourself approach.

Park Model

  • Only come in one size and must remain under 400 square feet to qualify as a recreational vehicle under federal state laws
  • Generally have steel tie down straps to attach to ground anchors to satisfy local zoning or park regulations
