About Alliant Health Plans

Alliant is the only Georgia-founded and Georgia-based Provider Sponsored Health Care Corporation, a nonprofit structure that puts local physicians and hospitals behind the plan instead of a national parent. Formed in the late 1990s out of Hamilton Health Care System in Dalton, it has covered Georgians for more than 25 years and extended into 11 southern Tennessee counties starting in 2025. Products include SoloCare individual and family plans sold on and off the marketplace, SimpleCare group coverage, and 4Corners level-funded plans for employers who are not ready to self-fund. Every plan uses the Alliant network of more than 24,000 providers and facilities across Georgia and Tennessee. As a nonprofit provider-sponsored carrier, Alliant does not carry an AM Best financial strength rating.
