Elevate is the plan brand of Denver Health Medical Plan, a nonprofit insurer tied to Denver Health, so your premium dollars stay inside a local safety-net health system instead of going to shareholders. Created in 1997, the plan now covers more than 100,000 Coloradans. Product lines include Elevate Medicare Advantage, Elevate individual and family plans sold on the exchange and through the Colorado Option, Elevate Medicaid Choice, Child Health Plan Plus, and the employer plan for Denver Health and Hospital Authority staff. Care management for chronic conditions, behavioral health benefits and well-being programs are built into the coverage, with a local service team handling member questions. As a nonprofit health plan, Denver Health Medical Plan does not carry an AM Best financial strength rating.
