Kathy has over 24 years of actuarial and benefit consulting experience, specializing in the design of retirement plans for businesses, and providing the necessary consulting to administer retirement plans effectively. Prior to becoming a founding member of Shore Tompkins Actuarial Resources, Kathy was Director of Actuarial Operations for RSM McGladrey Retirement Resources, where she supervised an actuarial staff of 17 employees. Kathy has a unique background which consists of extensive knowledge in both defined benefit and defined contribution plan administration. This allows her to have a complete understanding of a business’ best retirement options. Kathy focuses on the needs of her clients and develops close working relationships with them. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science from the University of Illinois and is an Enrolled Actuary (EA), a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries (AAA) and a Member of the American Society of Pension Actuaries (ASPA).
