His distinguished tenure includes key leadership roles at Chubb, Fireman’s Fund, and most recently AIG, where he was a founding member of the AIG Private Client Group. It was there where Poux played a pivotal role in launching the business, pioneering industry-first initiatives, and establishing a track record of success in the high-net-worth insurance sector.
Poux’s career is marked by a profound commitment to helping families protect their most cherished assets. At AIG, he spearheaded the development of groundbreaking programs such as the Wildfire Protection Unit® and Hurricane Protection Unit®, revolutionizing risk management and loss prevention for high-net-worth clients. His strategic vision and client-centric approach have been instrumental in safeguarding large estate properties, art collections, collector cars, jewelry, and architecturally significant homes. As a recognized thought leader, Poux has been featured in major media outlets including the NY Times, Wall Street Journal, and CNBC. He has also served as a subject matter expert for the Biden Administration’s Wildland Fire Commission and was a featured speaker at a US Congressional science briefing on catastrophe preparedness.
In his new role at Liberty, Poux will collaborate closely with the executive leadership team to build a center-of-excellence focused on protecting the property and passions of high-net-worth families. He will leverage his extensive experience in risk mitigation and loss prevention to attract new personal insurance clients and industry-leading talent.
