Beginning his career with Arthur Andersen’s New Orleans office, Allen quickly established himself as a diligent and resourceful professional, providing invaluable services to a diverse range of large public and privately held companies. Transitioning to the commercial insurance landscape, Allen’s career trajectory saw him assume key leadership positions throughout the U.S., including a notable stint as a regional COO/CFO for Sedgwick, a leading global provider of technology-enabled risk, benefits, and integrated business solutions. During this tenure, Allen played a pivotal role in shaping operational strategies, M&A, financial budgeting and oversight and sales management contributing to the overall success and growth of the organization.
Demonstrating a keen ability for innovation and strategic growth opportunities, Allen further solidified his reputation within the industry by spearheading the establishment of a specialized middle-market specialty product and national placement center, catering to clients nationwide with tailored solutions to their evolving needs. Subsequently, his tenure with Hays Companies (now Brown & Brown) showcased his exceptional ability to drive expansion and foster collaborative teams across various regions, further underscoring his capacity for leadership and results-driven management.
